**Forgotten Desires~
A fantasy cat role-play
On the Eastern coast of Australia, a small island lay secretly on the blue waters. Only few people knew about this paradise, and so together they joined and moved to the little island. Back then, there was only twenty-six people on the island. And together they thought of a name: "Oppaquae (O-pac-ay)"
Two-hundred years later, still no one has come across the island. The population is now 1,269 and counting. The once a beautiful paradise has become an over-crowded island, forgotten by everyone all over the world. And to add to that, no one cares. The citizens of the island had made plans to evacuate the tiny island as soon as it was no longer able to support their needs. But, they were in for a big surprise.
Not ten years ago, a terrible virus spread throughout the whole island, wiping out the whole human population. They called it the "Tyrux Disease" or the "Oppaqian Plague". Every human was killed by the disease, except for the cats. Yes, felines were the only species alive. Other than a few birds and mice, the island is bare. In the ten years since the humans disappeared, some of Oppaquae's beauty has returned. Prey is still scarce, but the populations are increasing.
Life is perfect. No humans. Prey to go around. Everything a cat would ever want. But you're wrong. The "Tyrux Disease" had, in fact, affected the cats. Not in such a way to kill them... just... change them. Felines affected by the plague would become different, in ways never imagined. They would grow new limbs, such as wings and horns. They would get powers, which could range from electricity to the power of time.
This left the feline's distraught. So, they gathered together their family and friends, forming three different tribes: Obsidian Tribe, Achromic Tribe and Ashen Tribe. Each with a different way of life, the rivalries formed. Today, wars still occur from time to time, and the tension between all three tribes is even stronger than ever.
